We are proud to announce that the Finnish Minister of Economic Affairs Jyri Häkämies has given his support to SomePitching and has become the official ‘Protector’ of the competition.

I’ve had the privilege to negotiate this process for quite a while now, and just today we have received the final approval for Minister’s participation. Minister Häkämies has greatly shown support to Finnish startup communities, and SomePitching is trying to live up to the expectation of providing support to our startups.

SomePitching together with the Oulu-based Starttaamo startup center have both worked hard in order to make this happen, and we will continue to share our expertise with any startup in need. We hope to build a nationwide collaboration network to support entrepreneurial efforts and the open innovation thought of mind within our startup ecosystem.
